7/15/2012 Update

It’s been a while but I have a picture of my tomato plant. Growth has been great and the plant has produced a lot of healthy flowers, but no tomatos. It turns out that tomatos are wind polinated and greenhouses who grow tomatos put a lot of time & energy polinating their tomato plants. They even use special vibrators to “buzz” the flowers so they will polinate.

So, my tomato experiment was a failure but for those of you only wishing to grow flower buds this type of grow room will work great.

But my Jalepeno plant is doing great & I even have a couple of Jalapenos. So I’ve decided to trash the tomato plant and plant a bell pepper in its place. I’ll post another update soon.
